Language Oddities

After an couple email conversations with Bev, I was struck by two different language oddities:

Why does the word "lisp" have an "s" in it? Is that just coincidence, or was it done purposefully to be cruel?

Isn't it kind of funny that the word "harassment" has the word "ass" right in the middle there? Does that make using the word harassment, harassing in and of itself?

Isn't English fun?
