Which Prison Would You Choose?Allow me to present to you a hypothetical situation. I'm sure all of you, my few and loyal readers would never find yourself in this situation, but that doesn't matter when it's hypothetical right? Alright, so let's say you're in a foreign country and are arrested for some terrible crime. For some strange reason, you are given a choice over what prison you'd rather be detained in until trial. You can either go the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay Cuba, or a prison in Paris France. Which would you choose? If you chose Paris France... you might want to reconsider. Granted, based on all the international criticism of Gitmo, I don't blame your first instinct.
Well I chose Gitmo without reading the article, but you have to expect other bloggers to know—well maybe not some far left—that Gitmo is not a very bad place as prisons go.
