My New Toy Arrived

Yesterday my SanDisk Cruzer Titanium arrived via UPS. I ordered it last week to replace the USBDrive I had for about 3 years. I kept the old one on my key chain. It was part metal, part plastic and took a hell of a beating. And when I say a beating, I mean a severe beating. It still works great, it just looks like crap, and the piece that hooked onto my key chain broke several months ago, as did part of the cap.

This new one is all metal (Aluminum and Titanium), and the USB port retracts inside, which means there is no cap to lose or break. It comes with some software which I could frankly care less about, and is 512 MB (twice what I had before). Not too bad for $55. The only problem is that I can't seem to get the key chain ring into the slot cut into it. I'm sure I'll get it eventually, but it's a pain in the ass!

Personally I recommend some sort of USB flash drive to everyone. This is the new floppy disk, and I honestly couldn't live without it. You can get smaller ones dirt cheap at almost any electronics store. Seriously... go get one.
