Addiction 

• You scrounge through your change dish at your desk which is mostly full of pennies searching for anything resembling silver.
  
• You get to the soda machine with a ratty dollar , but the machine won't take it... so you put it in again and again and again. You try smoothing it out, turning it in different directions, and you thank God when the machine finally takes it.
  
• You put in your nickels (because that's all you could find), when the last one gets stuck and won't register. You curse as you bang on the machine hoping to jar it loose.
  
• When all your money is finally registered you push the button for Dt. Mtn. Dew, but it's empty. You press the next Dt. Mtn. Dew button, and it's empty. You go down the line of all the buttons and finally the last button has one. We write software... there are a lot of Dt. Mtn. Dew buttons.
  
• You quickly open your bottle and savor the taste of sweet caffeine.
