I really don't do this often... but I'm going to give it a shot. Does anyone have any experience with either shipping a bicycle across country, or with using a case to take one on an airplane? How much do airlines charge for over sized luggage and added weight? Anyone have experience with a really good travel case that they can recommend? Drop a comment or send me an email. Thanks.
I'd say to send it as a piece of checked-on luggage. Didn't cost me anything extra to send my bike to France, but that was 15 years ago.
