Love the Rain, Hate the Rain 

Woke up this morning around 3 am to thunderstorms booming overhead. I don't think they were quite as strong as the ones that came through a few days ago, and I definitely didn't experience anything as loud as Matt did, but still always fun. I actually enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof, and the distance sound of thunder rolling through the air. It never takes me long to fall back asleep when that's going on.

The downside to the rain is the humidity which is wreaking havoc on my knee. Between the race on Sunday, and the fact that I went running last night, my left knee started killing me walking from the car to the office this morning. I'm pretty religious about taking the stairs up the 4th floor, but this morning I got on the elevator.

As people have seen me hobbling around before the Ibuprofen kicked in, I've had to field questions from about a half dozen people about whether I hurt myself. It's nice when people care enough to ask... but after about the 3rd person you just want to hang a sign on your neck that says "Yes I hurt myself, my knee is killing right now."
