More Friday Fun

Read Yahoo's Odd News section lately? There are some real gems today. In Italy, a woman has successfully sued for damages caused by her impotent husband:

An impotent Italian man who kept his problem a secret from his wife until after their wedding must pay her damages for 'eroding' her right to have a family, Italy's Supreme Court has ruled.

The woman, identified by the Italian media as Cristina S., was quick to get her marriage annulled in the 1990s after learning to her horror that her husband could not consummate it.

She then demanded damages, saying she had been robbed of her "right to sexuality" and the promise of a family. Despite losing legal battles in lower courts, she kept appealing, and finally the Supreme Court found in her favor.

Did he think she wouldn't notice during the honeymoon? One more reason for premarital sex. You don't buy a car without going for a test drive first do you?

In Thailand, they have to warn boys not to inject foreign liquids into their penises:

Thailand's health ministry warned size-obsessed men on Friday to avoid trying to enlarge their penises with liquid injections, saying it could cause deformities.

The warning followed media reports that male teenagers in central Thailand had rushed to have their penises injected with olive oil or other liquids.

"Injecting olive oil or any liquid into penises is extremely risky," Chatri Banchuin, chief of the Department of Medical Services, said after his office issued the public warning.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. They had to be warned not to do that? Who would volunteer for that?

And last, but not least, a talking penis has been removed from TV in Michigan:

A Michigan court apparently has ended the television career of a talking penis.

A three-judge panel of the Michigan Court of Appeals declared that the talking penis, nicknamed Dick Smart, telling "purportedly humorous" jokes on a Grand Rapids, Michigan, public access cable television channel constituted indecent exposure.
...
Huffman could not immediately be reached for comment but he told the Detroit Free Press newspaper he planned to appeal in defense of his right to freedom of speech.

Until then, he plans on joining the local circus and performing in the tent with the one-eyed monster and bearded lady. That's pretty amazing. Mine can't talk... but it does think for me now and then.
