It's No Longer Up to Them

The Chiefs dropped it on Saturday against the Giants... and so it's no longer up to them. If they won all three of the last games, then they were guaranteed a wild card spot... but now they need help. They have to win their last two games, and some other teams have to lose a few. It would have been really nice if Indy had actually beaten San Diego like they were supposed to... but the football gods decided not to shine on us, and Miami holds on to its ubiquitous title.

I'm not going to analyze it... and am not going to bitch. I'll just take solace in the fact that I'm not a Packers fan watching Brett Favre stumble one too many times as he tries too hard to make up for having his entire team on IR. Instead, I'll just mention this week's featured cheerleader, Tracee. Her advice to younger people is, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away." My count just went up by one.
