What Was On My Bumper?

Last night I was suddenly paranoid that something had happened to the front of my car. Allow me to explain.

I had just exited the parking garage at work at the end of the day, and was stopped at a stop light. Crossing the street in front of me was a small group of people, among them was a very attractive woman. I suddenly realized that she was looking at me, and smiling... so I smiled back and admired the view, at which point she looked down at my bumper. My first thought was that she was slightly embarrassed, so she looked down. Then the guy who was walking next to her also looked down at my bumper, and then they said something to each other. The light turned green, and I headed home... worried that something had happened to the front of my brand new car. I got home, got out of my car, and immediately went around to the front to check out the damage. It was spotless.

What am I missing here?
