I'd Like a Crack At It Too Now

Well... the Blogger Team lied yesterday... and they had another server crash. This time, it took out my blog with it. Everything seems to be back up and running now, and I'll have some more posting in a bit.

I did find it very frustrating to not be able to blog when I wanted to, and have now realized how much of myself I put here. As for Blogger... I don't hold it against them. They provide a very high quality service for free, and do it for a whole lot of people. In more than two years of blogging, there has really only been one other major outage I've experienced. There are a lot of people who pay separate hosting companies and use other software who've had a lot more downtime.

I would like to take a crack at that server with a bat though.

After several months of irritating problems with Blogger I switched to PowerBlogs.

For $5 a month it was a smart move with way better tools. After over a year with them I have never experienced a server outage.

Still have to occasionally put up with problems when I comment on Blogger blogs though. :-)
