It's Official... I'm Worthless

I've been nominated for several weblog awards over my blogging career (even if I've never won one). I've started a fairly popular regional blog carnival. I'm linked by numerous bloggers, both popular and not so popular. I have a decent standing in the TTLB Ecosystem. I even like to think that my writing is interesting, funny, and maybe even thought provoking. But then I see stuff like this, and it just makes me wonder:

Either it's a bug... or I need to start taking the hint.

Comments:

Don't worry. The proprietor of that site told me that sometimes his OWN blog comes up zero. Take two aspirins and try it again in the morning. :)

That's the thing though... I've actually tried it many times since I first saw it several months ago... thinking that it would right itself, or a bug would be fixed. It has ALWAYS shown $0.00.

I'm not stressing about it at all... just found it kinda funny... and yet another opportunity for me to flex my comic muscle with some self deprecating humor.

Hey, mine is zero too.

But I know what it is worth in sentimental value (*tear*).

I don't need you, technorati, I don't need any of you!!!

(*runs away*)

Kidding :)

And From Where I Sit is supposedly worth like 7k.

But I'm sure I have less readers than either of you.

I think it's an internet version of the Magic 8-Ball: try again later!

My blog has always given a zero value when plugged in.

I think Elliot is right about the eight ball.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

Of course, you can take the HTML and fill in any value you want, can't you?

Dean... Are you suggesting that I'd cook my books? The SEC would be all over me then.

This is The World According to Nick, not The World According to Enron.
