English and English Not Quite the Same 

I was "paging" through Google News this morning where the top headline in the Entertainment Section was Love 'bums fags off strangers'. Huh? Ok, you got me... I'll click on the link. Suddenly I'm transported to a British newspaper site where the article continues:

Troubled star Courtney Love is reported to have wandered the streets, scrounged cigarettes off strangers and claimed she was being followed, before being admitted to hospital.

Ohhhh. That's Courney Love, and "fags" are cigarettes. Ok. So much for the "Queen's English" eh?
